Chester Finn worked with Massachusetts Advocates Standing Strong (MASS) when they made a supported decision-making form. They believed other tools were too hard to understand. Chester wrote a report on what he learned. In it, he made suggestions for self-advocates who want to help their peers make supported decision-making agreements.

Blog By Self-Advocates Getting Services Remotely

SARTAC had a Town Hall session with at least 60 self-advocates from more than 25 states. They discussed what works and what does not work when getting remote support from staff. Comments were used to write a blog for the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services.
