Hello,

I'm excited to share that we are searching for a program coordinator to lead our Fannie Lou Hamer Leadership (FLH) Program this summer. The program coordinator will lead our 2022 cohort of FLH Program participants.

Started in 2020 by Keri Gray, the FLH Program is a leadership, advocacy, and democracy-focused program for young Black disabled leaders passionate about civic engagement in their communities. As many states have made voting even harder for Black disabled voters and other disabled voters of color, the FLH Program feels especially important this year!

About the Role:

  • The role will be part time.
  • The position will mostly be remote with the option of some in-person elements in D.C. if safe.
  • The role lasts from April - August, 2022.
  • We are expecting a compensation range of $40,000-$60,000.

How to Apply:

Please share this opportunity with anyone you think would be interested. We are excited to have another cohort of amazing Black disabled leaders building their advocacy skills ahead of the 2022 elections.

If you have any questions, you can email me at xxxxxx@aapd.com.

Thanks,
Lilian
