The Call for Presentations (CFP)
for the DEI Virtual Conference
has been extended through Friday,
February 4 at 11:59 p.m. EST due to setbacks related to the Omicron variant.
As our event is based on equity and community-based solutions, we seek to be responsive to the needs of all interested presenters.
Presentations will be reviewed, as received, so we encourage those further along in the entry process to submit their proposals, once completed.
The DEI Virtual Conference team looks forward to reviewing your proposed presentations or panel discussions related to:
-
Setting and defining goals for improving DEI in your organization.
-
The impact of systemic and historical racism and other barriers on the I/DD sector.
-
The intersection of health care disparities for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and those with I/DD.
-
Creating a pathway for equity and inclusion of BIPOC at all levels of I/DD organizations, including the boards of directors.
-
The challenges and rewards of employing a neuro-diverse workforce.
