Docuseries from the Emmy Award-winning creators of “Born This Way,” Bunim/Murray Productions, as well as Shopify Studios, begins streaming on Peacock
and CRAVE on August 23
Late last week it was announced that the a powerful new docuseries that spotlights the untold stories of four entrepreneurs with disabilities, Born
For Business would be released in late August. The new docuseries gives viewers an insider’s look at what it takes to launch and run a thriving small business. Just as each entrepreneur is on the brink of success, they must navigate the complications
that the COVID-19 pandemic presents.
Many of you joined NACDD for our final panel of our 2021 Annual Conference to hear from Lauren Applebaum of RespectAbility who led a discussion with 3 other women with disabilities
who are working with RespectAbility to end stigma and accurately portray people with disabilities in Hollywood productions. At that time Lauren couldn’t share this exciting news, but Lauren and RespectAbility did a great deal to make this new show a reality.
When attending RespectAbility’s Board of Directors meeting in Los Angeles last month, I had the opportunity to view the trailer for the show with producer Jonathan Murray. It got me so excited for the day that this would go public and I could share the information
with you all.
