Dear DD Council Network – I am so proud today to share with you the link to view testimony before the House of Representative’s Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies. Erin was chosen to provide (virtual) testimony on behalf of the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) DD Task Force. It is rare to get such opportunities and so we are very excited that Erin was given this honor which allowed NACDD to get our message out the Hill about the importance of funding for the DD Act and other important programs. You can see Erin’s testimony virtually here (approximately at -23.13 and in writing as well. As you watch, please be sure to watch/listen to Chairwoman Rosa DeLauro’s comments following Erin’s remarks. We are so fortunate to have Rep. DeLauro (-D-CT) as an ally for us.
