Subject: [EXTERNAL] DD Councils Sub-Minimum Wage Bill in SC

Everyone – Our Sub-Minimum Wage bill passed in the Senate today and barely made the “crossover deadline” to go to the House before the end of the 1st regular session of our 124th General Assembly.  We are in the 1st year of a 2 year session.  This is kind of a big deal here, as many things get lost between the 1st and 2nd parts of the session.  We’re hoping we can keep the momentum going and get this passed in the House and sign into law before they recess at the end of May, 2021!  Had a moment of celebration and now on to the next hurdle!  Val
