Dear NACDD Network – below is a link to a one hour news report about voting access done by the 92Y’s Belfer Center for Innovation and Social Impact. The event is called Who Votes, Who Doesn’t and Why it Matters. It’s very well done in general, but if you get to minute 56.02 there is a great quote from NACDD which is read by the moderator of the panel about people with I/DD and voting rights. Kudos to Robin Troutman who made this happen! She worked with journalist Amy Walter in NYC on this and we are grateful to Ms. Walter who took the concerns of people with I/DD and voting so seriously.
