NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS - NADSP - Black DSPs Matter - A Five Part Video Series

In June, Ryene Fenner, a direct support professional, sent a letter to the management team at the agency she works with, New Horizons Resources Inc. This sparked an important discussion about racism in the direct support workforce. NADSP reached out to her to contribute to a blog/video series which shares interview clips each week. For more information including a list of Anti-Racism resources from the Oakland Community Health Network and more, visit https://nadsp.org/blog-black-dsps-matter-part-4/?mc_cid=a60a7b4a9d&mc_eid=e8a6934cc1

National Leadership Consortium is launching its first Virtual Leadership Institute which will run two half-days a week for 5 weeks, from late September - late October. The virtual institute will offer everything that an in-person Leadership Institute does, it's more affordable, and it will be a great option for people who haven't been able to travel to spend a whole week with us in Delaware. Plus, it offers all kinds of opportunities for participants to apply what they are learning in their home organizations as the five week program proceeds. For more information, visit http://nlcdd.org/virtual-institute.html
