Today the House is expected to approve the subcommittee-passed Labor, HHS, Education appropriations bill that included a $2 million increase for DD Council along with report language that also protects our Technical Assistance Funding.
Attached is the section of the Report that includes the House Committee’s decisions on all programs in ACL.
Thanks to all those who helped us secure this increase in the House! Your stories, connections with appropriators and hard work has paid off! We now await information about when the Senate will take up this bill. Regardless of increase,
we still expect Congress to approve a Continuing Resolution (CR) to keep all government funded programs afloat until after the elections in November.
