These meetings are for self-advocates. We share information, ask and answer questions, get to know new people and do what we do best - provide peer support!

Meetings are every Monday and Thursday at:

Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities MHDD ECHO is scheduled for Thursday, April 16th, 10-11:30am Alaska time (2:00pm Eastern), repeating every other Thursday through April 30th. Our topic on the 16th will be: Treatment, Part II.

3) Deadline, May 15^th - Opportunities to Participate

COVID-19 Experiences of Parents with Disabilities
The NIDILRR-funded Parents Empowering Parents: National Research Center for Parents with Disabilities (NRCPD) invites parents with disabilities to submit articles to be published in the NRCPD Community Blog. Specifically, NRCPD is seeking essays that focus on the experiences of parents with disabilities during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), including adaptive strategies, relationships, support needs, and barriers and challenges. NRCPD is interested in bringing together a racially, culturally, and experientially diverse group of people to contribute. Articles must be submitted by May 15th. Contributors will receive $100 per accepted submission.
