The DC Developmental Disabilities Council is hiring for an Administrative Support Specialist!

 

Summary

This position is established to support the planning of at least one community forum each year; the development and implementation of a community engagement plan for the five-year state plan that will begin in 2022; the orientation of all new Councilmembers, inclusive of ethics guidelines from the Board of Ethics and Government Accountability; and DDC committees by helping with meeting scheduling, technology needs, note taking, and action steps. The work involves analyzing program management, administrative, and business policies and practices; and analyzing program operations such as personnel, grants, risk management, contracts, facility management, IT/telecommunications, and procurement, and recommends changes to promote goal achievement.
