What is the Council Consortium?

A collaborative online DD Council community designed to help with information exchange and communication on state plan projects and initiatives.

You are invited to participate in the next Learning Consortium for 2020 on Thursday, May 14, 2020.  The original discussion topic was transportation initiatives, however, we have changed the discussion topic to COVID-19 responses and initiatives by DD Councils.

The purpose of the Council Consortium is to exchange ideas, promising or best practices; lessons learned from your work on specific topics; insights on collaborators or partners; and identify any challenges incurred.  Councils are strongly encouraged to talk specifically about their work and sharing will open the dialogue for further discussion.

The conversation will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 3 pm ET.  The Zoom information is below

At this time, we will hear from Council staff about COVID-19 activities with expected outcomes and results identified. We will also discuss how initiatives are being put into action which includes, but not limited to interagency agreements, contract revisions and pivoting current sub-award work plans, existing staff assignments.
