Hi, Eric.  As Wanda, when we have had these forums we also partner with the League, other Councils, and our Network Partners so the costs are shared.  We are so much smaller than most, so our costs are much less, but somewhere in the neighborhood of $5,000.

Eric,

When we’ve been involved in forums previously we have worked in partnership with groups like the League for Women Voters or others who regularly organize candidate forums. It’s also nice to get the broader voting community involved. Our Council has never done this through an RFP.

I am looking for resources on how to put together candidate forums.  We have been asked by our Council to put together a RFP to support candidate forums this fall and I have no idea how much they cost or what goes into putting one on.  Anybody with ideas please send them to me.  Thanks
