Two New Funding Opportunities for Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects Program

Two new grant opportunities from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) at ACL have been announced under the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects Program (DRRP).

The purpose of the DRRP program is to plan and conduct research, demonstration projects, training, and related activities (including international activities) to develop methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technology that maximize the full inclusion and integration into society, employment, independent living, family support, and economic and social self-sufficiency of individuals with disabilities.

DRRP Burn Model Systems National Data and Statistical Center--The purpose of this DRRP is to maintain the Burn Model Systems National Database and to provide training, technical assistance and support for the Burn Model Systems Centers as they contribute data to this database.

DRRP College and Career Success for Students with Serious Mental Illness or Traumatic Brain Injury--The purpose of this DRRP is to generate new knowledge about the effectiveness of interventions to improve college education and employment outcomes of people with serious mental illness or traumatic brain injury.
