RE:          Formula Grant Estimates

The Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AIDD) located within the Administration on Disabilities (AoD) in the Administration for Community Living (ACL) at the United States Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) is aware that The Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 requires that AIDD produce grant award estimates for the following federal Fiscal Year on March 1, of each year.

Due to the transition to the new Administration and the late development of the Fiscal Year 2018 budget, AIDD is unable to produce grant award estimates for the federal Fiscal Year 2018. We understand that Fiscal Year 2018 State budgets begin on July 1. The federal government is operating on a continuing resolution until April 28, 2017. We will share more information regarding Fiscal Year 2018 estimates and remainder of the Fiscal Year 2017 budget as more information becomes available to us.
