Attached is content and agenda information about the 2016 Technical Assistance Institute (TAI).

 

The one-day meeting will address -

 

·         revisions to the draft performance measures

·         program performance reporting expectations for 2017 forward

·         DD Act Final rule implications

·         new AIDD planning and reporting web-based system

·         information on what to expect after the review of your Council's 2017-2021 State plan, and other relevant information  

 

We urge all DD Council's to send at least one staff person to this important meeting.  

 

Commissioner Aaron Bishop has provided a letter of support to assist with travel approval. (also attached) 

 

Additionally, we are providing the workshop agenda the Chairperson Leadership Training – Wednesday July 6th from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (the same day as the Technical Assistance Institute).

 

Council members holding leadership positions such as  DD Council Chairpersons, Vice-chairpersons, officers, Executive Committee members, and other committee chairpersons are appropriate for this training.  We respectfully request that only council members holding leadership positions attend this training as DD Council staff and Executive Directors are to attend the 2016 Technical Assistance Institute.
