In the past our Center for Self Advocacy had an Americorp volunteer help with the center. After he finished his time with Americorp, Daniel was hired by our Council and is a vital part of the Center for Self Advocacy.

I say it is a worthwhile program to partner with.

I just had a visit with representatives from Americorp and the state volunteer and mentoring programs. We were exploring possible projects that we could work on together and I thought I would reach out and see if any of you were partnering in anyway with these types of organizations?
