The New Hampshire Council on Developmental Disabilities is seeking a full time
Executive Director to direct and coordinate the staff, programs and activities of the Council.
Serves as the chief executive officer of the Council, recommends and participates in the formulation of new policies and makes decisions within existing policies as they have been approved by the
Council. Plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the staff, programs and activities of the Council to assure that objectives are attained, plans fulfilled and member needs met.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master’s Degree, Juris
Doctor (law) or comparable degree from a recognized college or university with a major concentration in planning, economics, government, business or public administration, human services, law, criminal justice or a related field.
Experience:
Seven years experience in government or at a private agency concerned with human services planning and service delivery activities, four years of which must have been in a management
level position involving administrative or supervisory duties concerned with program administration, program planning and evaluation or related management experience. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required
formal education at the graduate level only.
License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and/or access to transportation required.
