NACDD’s Strategic Communications Subcommittee will conduct a webinar designed to help DD Councils raise awareness about the importance of employment for people with disabilities during National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) in October. Webinar participants will learn how they can get involved during NDEAM by highlighting successful employment projects, raising awareness about national initiatives, and more!

 

This webinar will feature the following information:

·         How the Tennessee DD Council collaborated with multiple agencies to conduct an effective statewide campaign

·         An easy-to-use social media calendar and a sample proclamation so your Council can get a head start

·         Resources and materials developed by the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP)
