Good Morning DD Councils,
 
Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is helping lead national workgroup stemming from grant funds awarded to UCEDD in Massachusetts from OSEP (U.D. Dept. of Education) – a collaborative effort. They are looking for representatives from across the country to be a member of their community engagement workgroup.  The focus is around working with VR, employers, and DD systems in any state to look at ways to support students with ID to attend college, and obtain employment either while in college and definitely post-graduation. The purpose of the workgroup will be to help establish stronger relationships among three groups (DD, VR, employers) with current inclusive college programs or ways to expand more inclusive college programs in states.
