On behalf of Self Advocates Becoming Empowered Self Advocacy Resource and Training Center (SARTAC), 

we wanted to let you know that there are a number of ways for DD Councils to connect with SARTAC and receive updates on our activities:

2. We have 2 email lists that you can be included on:

• One is for the general public which receives announcements geared for a broad audience of disability organizations. You can subscribe to that list on the home page of our website. http://selfadvocacyinfo.org/
• The technical assistance team has another email list of state self-advocacy contacts. This list receives around 20 emails a year seeking input and sharing SARTAC announcements.

3. The technical assistance team also calls each state contact twice a year. We want to hear about self-advocacy accomplishments that we can share with others. We also are calling to see if self-advocacy organizations are working on any issues and we offer to share resources that may support their efforts. Let us know the name of the person and their phone number if you would like to receive a call twice a year from Max Barrows, a self-advocate who leads our technical assistance team.
