Please join the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) for an exciting upcoming Virtual Townhall Event on
September 24, 2020 at 3:30pm EDT. This event, sponsored by Aetna, will feature a panel of DD Council leaders talking about how Medicaid Managed Care is working in their State. The event will provide a great opportunity to listen and learn about how people
with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are being served and the role the DD Council has played in the process. Following the panel there will be an opportunity for all participants to ask questions of the panelists or provide a statement of their
own – Townhall style. While Medicaid Managed Care continues to be controversial, we know that most states are engaging and DD Councils are at the forefront of ensuring the best outcomes for people with I/DD. Our two-hour event will include polls to gather
brief understanding of your knowledge and impressions of what MMC is delivering and how we can do more to ensure better outcomes.
